How Much Sleep is Too Much?

Most sleep experts agree that the average adult needs 6-9 hours of sleep every night. I would go ahead and say that 7-8 hours should be your goal.

If you sleep more than 8 hours, you’re probably wasting a lot of precious time on un-necessary sleep.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you told me that you sleep for over 8 hours a day (night and daytime sleep combined) and are always tired.
